Condition of Entry
Whilst every effort is made to provide a safe environment for the running of Events, Horse Parade NEC & Land / Property Owners cannot be held responsible for any accident, Death, loss, damage of property, injury to exhibit, spectator, property or animal however caused. It is the Condition of entry that every participating body shall indemnify the organisers / against any liability arising from the above however caused. All exhibits are Strongly Adviced to carry adequate third party insurance cover.
Condition of Entry of participating combinations of Handler, Rider, Horse, Pony to be of Home Produced Grass Root / Local Level Standard Only. Participating Combinations are expected to enter into the true nature of the event. Handler, K9, Rider, Horse, Pony, Must not have taken part in County Level /HOY's / RIHS or to have been affiliated in any event above Grass Root Level.
If a combination is found to be in breach of Horse Parade T & C / Stipulations and are suspected to be above the Grass Root Local Level then a Complaint maybe inforced within 30 minutes of the class finishing acompanied with £ 10.00 returnable fee if the objection is with turned. If it is found that the Combination have competed at a higher level then they would be stripped of their result / prizes and refused entry to future Horse Parade Events
All participating Competitors must enter Horse Parade as a Grass Root Competitor & here by respect and abide Horse Parade T & C / Stipulations that combinations are of Local Level and have not competed or taken part in a higher level.
Qualifying Cards must be returned with all detailed areas fully completed within seven days from Qualifying to remain Valid. Names will be added to the List of 'Confirmed' Qualifying Competitors via the Website. All Qualified Competitor Class information is recorded for NEC reference.
Competitors may Qualify as many times as they wish. One Qualification Card entitles the Qualified Competitor to reduced Class Entries
Competitors do not have to Qualify to take part in this event.
Only Qualified Competitors receive class reductions
Competitors are responsible for their own time table
Competitors would not be able to leave the Show Ring to join another class once started
Horse or Pony Do Not Require Breed Registration for this Event
No Membership or Affiliation Fee's apply for 2011
No abusive / verbal / physical behaviour or otherwise will not be tolerated, this action is Frowned upon & will not be will tolerated to any participating persons or animals whilst /during Horse Parade NEC Events which may result in Exclusion from future events.
Any disagreements must be made in writing and presented to the organisers with the sum of £40.00 within 15 minutes of accurance, fee will be refuned if the objection is upheld.
The Judges decision is Final.
Class fees will not be returnable under any circumstances
We ask all participating parties to respect the Venue and dispose of rubbish in bins provided & also not to skip out lorry's in the parking areas.
Safety Rules apply when in the warm up area apply, notices will be provided for attention to all. Example; Left to left shoulder / when walking move to the inside track / be curtious to other riders at all times.
No Persons, Trainers, instructors are permitted within the warm up area's at any time
No other person apart from the Class entry combination is allowed to ride / warm up on your behalf.
The warm up area is for use of that only, please leave this area for change of tack, standing or chatting.
Please leave all gates areas free from crowding.
(Viewing Gallery) When viewing competitors whilst competing please keep noise to a minumum. Although a round of applause is always appreciated.
Children must be under adult supervision at all times whist on the Showground / Viewing Gallery
All riders / Handlers must wear BS Riding Hats whilst competing.
Whips / not to exceed 30''
Performance Wear; Condition of entry; For the Finale Supreme Parade / Evening Performances, Show outfit, Stocks, Glitter, Top Hats etc. We strongly recommend children under the age of 16yrs to wear BS Hat. Should you choose to let children wear a non BS hat then it is allowed by you the Competitor, Parent, Guardian with your full consent, however a declaration form Must be completed on the day via the office
Please ensure correct class dress wear.
Grooms should be of smart appearance
Lead Rein Riders must be of 4yrs & above
Lead Rein Competitors must remain on lead rein throughout the Event & prevented from entering any other or First Ridden Classes
Child Handler Class / maximum age of Handler 14yrs
Junior Competitors must be of 16yrs & Under
Senior Competitors must be of 17yrs & above
Snaffle bridles only, No spurs are allowed in All Novice & Equitation Classes
All ridden Classes are to be ridden in any suitable Bit / Bridle unless otherwise stated in individual Classes
Stallions / colts / must be suitabily bitted & suspervised & bitted at all times, Rider or Handler must be of 14yrs & over
Youngstock must be suitabily bitted & supervised / handled by persons 14yrs & above
Ridden horses / ponies must be of 4 yrs & above
Any horse deemed to be unfit for competition will be asked to leave .
No Lunging allowed at the show ground
No cantering around the Showground
Any misuse of spurs or whips will not be tolerated, which may result in Exclusion of future events.
All Dogs must be on a lead at all times
Dog Handlers must carry Poo Bags at all times during the event to clean any up any fouling immediately.
We strongly advise that no Horse, Pony or Dog be left unattended for any lenght of time whilst in or tied to a vehicle.
Horse Parade NEC reserve the right to alter or amend class schedules at short notice
